Texas Department of Public Safety
Microassist partnered with the Texas Department of Public Safety to develop a pioneering website providing instant access to over 25 million criminal records. This legislative-driven project, ongoing since 1997, has dramatically reduced query costs from $10 to $3.15 and cut retrieval time from weeks to seconds. Processing over $2 million annually, the site has become an essential tool for Texas institutions, receiving 2 million monthly hits.
Perinatal HIV
The Texas Department of State Health Services Division for Disease Control and Prevention Services is charged with many tasks, including HIV/AIDS prevention. Unfortunately, perinatal HIV transmission rates were still too high. DSHS recognized that clinicians needed help in communicating the importance of HIV testing during pregnancy.
Regulatory & Compliance Training
A liquified natural gas company needed a scalable, custom eLearning solution to deliver consistent safety training to a geographically dispersed workforce while ensuring regulatory compliance and improving learner engagement.
