GoDIRect Contract Simplifies Purchase of E-Learning for Government Customers
Austin, TX – Nov. 6, 2008 – MicroAssist, an Austin based training company, has been awarded a contract for Technology Based Training Services by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR). Over 5,000 state and local government agencies can buy now thousands of e-Learning courses as well as customized training and services without going through an arduous bid process.
MicroAssist has over 5,500 standard technology, business and compliance course titles immediately available. These courses have been authorized and developed in cooperation with such companies as Microsoft, Cisco, Adobe and BrightlineCompliance.
Under the new contract agencies can also engage MicroAssist to develop online training specific to the organization’s need based on content provided by MicroAssist or developed in concert with the State Department or Agency subject matter experts. MicroAssist offers customized training development that encompasses all elements of E-Learning including learning and technology strategy, course concept development, instructional and curriculum design, Learning Management System installation and hosting, and on-line assessments design and creation.
“The demand for technology-based delivery methods and E-Learning continues to become a larger portion of all workplace learning” said Sanjay Nasta, CEO of MicroAssist Inc. “The combination of technology readiness that we see in the marketplace along with the financial drivers to increase efficiency in the area of training make this new contract an attractive opportunity and alternative for our State customers.”
