Jack McElaney is the Chief Revenue Officer at Microassist, he leads the development and execution of the company’s sales, marketing strategy, and revenue enhancement. He plays a pivotal role in advancing Microassist’s focus on digital accessibility and consulting, elearning, and classroom training, particularly within the corporate, financial services, government, and college and university sectors.
A recognized leader in the digital accessibility field, Jack has curated Accessibility in the News, a widely read weekly industry newsletter, for the past nine years. The newsletter is a compilation of hand-picked articles (human curated content, no AI), articles, blogs, conferences, training opportunities, job listings, tips, and numerous resources related to digital accessibility. He was a founding member and active steering committee member of the Digital Accessibility Legal Summit, where he was a regular speaker and contributor. Additionally, Jack serves on the Board of Directors for Standard Accessibility Reporting, an organization dedicated to improving how accessibility is measured and communicated for consumer electronic products manufactured around the world.
Jack brings decades of experience in executive roles at leading information providers and consulting firms. He held senior management positions at several Thomson Reuters companies, including RIA Group/WG&L and Sheshunoff Information Services, where he led high-performing teams across sales, marketing, and client services. At Sheshunoff Consulting & Solutions, he served as Managing Director of Risk Services, overseeing compliance and audit products and services. He was instrumental in reshaping the company’s operations, leading the divestiture of three divisions that significantly enhanced profitability.
With a strong background in sales, marketing, and operations and additional experience in executive recruitment, contact centers, and digital strategy. Jack offers a consultative, solutions-focused approach that helps Microassist clients meet challenges and seize and execute on new opportunities.
Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Jack holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Northeastern University.
