History

Founded in 1988, MicroAssist, Inc. is one of Austin's most experienced software training centers, providing real world and real workplace training services to both government and private sectors. Our company is a primary vendor for training for the State of Texas under the DIR contract.

With the overwhelming popularity of the Internet came an opportunity to provide training for using the Internet applications. MicroAssist launched its first Internet course in late 1995. Today we offer many courses focused on using and developing for the Internet and they are our most popular courses.

Our Internet courses are based in the real world since MicroAssist’s Internet Solutions Division has been building mission-critical, high volume web sites and web applications since 1997. Merging its high-end database development team and Internet division gave MicroAssist a strong edge in developing complex and sophisticated database-driven web applications and web sites. Since then, the company has successfully continued to work with a broad range of noticeable clients in various fields, from advertising, real estate, legal, political, to state and government agencies.

Initially to support our own efforts, but soon also to help our various clients, we have developed significant expertise in the design and support of computer systems and networks. We have designed and supervised system upgrades for numerous clients, and a number of firms count on us to manage and maintain their computer infrastructure. We also proudly maintain our designation as a Microsoft Certified Solution Provider, and are expert in the implementation of all Microsoft systems. We have developed relationships with several other significant software providers, and can recommend, implement and manage their product installations as well.
