
Chris BrownPublic Safety Business Development
Bringing a wealth of experience in law enforcement and public safety, Chris Brown serves as Microassist’s business development executive for the public safety sector. In this role, he works with agencies and administrators across the United States, highlighting innovative training and application development solutions tailored to ongoing public safety needs.
His mission is educating administrators about the strategic benefits of online training – cost reduction, risk mitigation, content and delivery quality control, overtime reduction, scheduling benefits, and integration with enterprise records management systems. He also works closely with the Microassist application development and elearning groups to ensure that public safety agencies have the tools necessary to effectively perform their jobs.
Chris earned a BA in organizational management and is completing a Master’s Degree in Intelligence Operations. He is a graduate of numerous professional schools and academies, and has served on countless boards, committees and professional groups at the national, state and local levels. He is a proud member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (State and Provincial section), the International Police Association, the Oregon Association of Chiefs of Police, and the Oregon State Sheriffs’ Association.
The combination of Chris’s law enforcement knowledge and Microassist’s elearning and development experience within various government agencies results in a very strong, specialized offering for clients within these service communities.
