If something can be done in only two clicks, why use more than necessary? New to Outlook 2010 is a Windows 7 integration feature that allows you to access a “jump list” menu with options to create an e-mail message, appointment, meeting, contact, or task by selecting an item. Rather than opening Outlook and navigating to the correct section (and of course being distracted by all of the new emails and notifications), simply right-click the Outlook icon in your task bar and select the desired action. Two clicks!
Even better, Outlook doesn’t need to be open when you click on an item! The only part of the Outlook interface that opens is the part you need to perform the task you select.
