Screen Backgrounds

Step 1
Click on your favorite picture

Step 2
Right-click on the picture and click on "Set as Background" (Windows XP) or "Set as Desktop Background" (Windows 7). After a brief pause, your desktop screen will display the picture.

Step 3
Right-click on the desktop picture, then click on "Properties" (XP) or "Personalize" (Windows 7) to choose the display effect.

Step 4
Click on the "Desktop" tab in Windows XP or "Desktop Background" in Windows 7.

Step 5
Select "Center," "Tile" or "Stretch," and click on "Apply" then "OK" (XP) or "OK" (Windows 7) to change the appearance of the picture on the desktop.
