MicroAssist can create custom medical illustrations for your medical training.  MicroAssist's lead instructional designer Linda Warren is a:

  • Certified Medical Illustrator
  • Fellow of the Association of Medical Illustrators.  Fellow of the AMI (FAMI) is among the most distinguished honors bestowed by the Association.
  • Advisor to the Vesalius Trust for Visual Communications in the Health Sciences

Images are a powerful part of medical training. While photographs document what is seen, instructive illustrations serve other purposes. They can reveal the mystery of hidden or submicroscopic structures. They can simplify a complicated surgical field. Illustrations use cut-away views to demonstrate spatial relationships within an organ. In a nutshell, medical illustrations communicate vast amounts of information quickly and do it without saying a word!

Every illustration starts with a story, a message that needs to be communicated. Our illustrators analyze the essence of the story and use visual cues to orient the viewer, focus attention, and eliminate extraneous information. Our didactic illustrations help learners picture the message for a deeper understanding of the subject.
