If you have a column of figures which include a currency symbol you can improve the appearance of the report by not showing the symbol with every figure. Instead, you might try placing the symbol in the column header or next to the figure on the first row in each page.
Open the field's Format Editor, and select the Number tab, then click Customize. Go to the Currency Symbol page and enable 'One symbol per page'.
Interested in doing more with your data? Check out one of our Crystal Reports classes! Students cover creating reports, displaying specific data, grouping data, building formulas, formatting and enhancing reports, creating charts, and more.
