MicroAssist and Alyson Design have come together to participate in Knowbility's AIR-Interactive 2010 contest. The goal of this year’s contest is to provide non-profit art organizations with high quality websites that are accessible to people with visual, hearing, mobility and cognitive disabilities.
The team has collectively chosen the name Unchain My Art and will be creating an accessible website for DiverseArts Culture Works. DiverseArts Culture Works is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the multicultural arts scene in Austin. The new website will specifically focus on preservation of a historical district in East Austin.
The contest winners will be announced at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive Festival at the Austin Convention Center.
