- Microassist, Inc., Vendor ID: 1742768479400
- Microassist certified Texas HUB: #56092
Our company has a rich history as a trusted technology partner for several government clients, including Texas state and local public sector agencies and federal organizations. Since 1992, we’ve delivered quality, IT-focused government solutions through staff development (classroom training or elearning), technical projects (including accessibility remediation), and application development.
Microassist holds two Cooperative Contracts with the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR).
- DIR‑SDD‑1972 – Deliverables-Based Information Technology (DBITS)
- DIR‑TSO‑2589 – Web Development and Managed Services
Instructor-led classroom training is also available. DIR Cooperative Contracts allow state and local governments, public education, assistance organizations, and even public entities outside of Texas to procure our services without going through the competitive RFP bid process, streamlining the procurement for services.
Through these contracts, you have easy access to web and app development and management. We also manage training from needs discovery, to development and execution, to reporting (Training Program Management).
Our team is well versed in state requirements for electronic information resource (EIR) accessibility, further ensuring that government organizations can deliver expertly designed and compliant skills and knowledge advancement opportunities to their teams and stakeholders (For information about self-disclosing Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates that may be required for your project, please refer to our VPAT page).
These contracts are negotiated specifically for government, taking into account public sector-friendly terms and conditions.

NOTE: DIR and Instructor-Led Training Services
Training Services Exemption through 06/01/2016
DIR’s contract for instructor-led training (ILT) has lapsed for all vendors, and DIR has issued a blanket exemption for training services through 06/01/2016. This allows state agencies, which are normally required to purchase training through a DIR contract, to procure training services even though a contract is not in place. This exemption affects the following IT Commodity codes:
- 920-91: Training, Computer Based (Software Supported)
- 924-40: Instructor-Led Classroom Training (Including Technical)
To find out more about this exemption, please visit the list of blanket exemptions on DIR’s website.
